About Stacy banner with books, plum flowers, and a coffee mug

Hi, I’m Stacy.

I’ve dreamed of writing a novel since I was thirteen years old. Stories have always been part of who I am, whether I’m getting lost in someone else’s world or creating one of my own. After years of carrying characters, scenes, and stories around in my head, I finally decided it was time to stop dreaming about writing a book and actually write one.

That story became Devil’s Halo, the first book in a contemporary rock romance series filled with messy hearts, fierce women, complicated pasts, found family, and the kind of love that was never part of the plan. What started with one book has grown into an entire world of characters who, at this point, seem perfectly convinced they’re in charge.

When I’m not writing, I’m usually reading romance, working on one of my many creative projects, or making jewelry with tiny seed beads that require far more patience than my fictional characters ever have. I live in Tennessee with my husband, my high-school sweetheart, and I’m the proud mom of two grown children. There’s usually coffee nearby, another craft waiting to be finished, and at least one new story taking shape in the back of my mind.

A Few Things About Me

Writer at Heart

I hold a diploma from the Institute for Writers, where I completed their Breaking Into Print course. Writing has been a lifelong dream, but seeing Devil’s Halo become my first published novel is proof that some dreams are worth holding onto.

Creative Spirit

Creativity has always been part of my life. Along with writing novels and poetry, I love making things with my hands, whether I’m creating jewelry, working on a diamond painting, coloring, or trying something new. For me, there’s something special about starting with an idea and watching it slowly become something real.

Jewelry Artisan

I’ve been creating jewelry with tiny seed beads for years, especially intricate designs using Delica beads. I love the detail and patience beadwork requires, and there’s something incredibly satisfying about watching hundreds of tiny beads come together to become one finished piece.

Moonlilly the Poet

Long before Devil’s Halo, I wrote poetry under the pen name Moonlilly and had several poems published over the years. Poetry taught me how much emotion can live inside a few carefully chosen words, and some of those poems eventually found a new life as songs featured in Devil’s Halo. I love that pieces of something I wrote years ago have found their way into the stories I’m telling now.

Building a Universe

Devil’s Halo may have started with Jaxx and Rayne, but their story opened the door to something much bigger. The series will continue with Syn, Styx, and Phoenix, while other characters are already demanding stories of their own. I love building a world where every book can stand on its own while still feeling connected to something larger, and I can’t wait to see where these characters take me next.
